Digital Payment: Transforming the Future of Hospitality and Hotel Industry

By increasing visitor convenience and happiness, the use of digital payment systems has drastically changed the hospitality sector. With an emphasis on transaction ease, security, and general happiness, this study investigates how digital payments affect visitors' experiences at Punjabi hotels. UPI and credit/debit cards are the most widely utilized digital payment methods, according to data gathered from 100 hotel customers in a variety of hotel categories. According to research, visitors who regularly utilize digital payment methods express more happiness because of how quick, safe, and effective transactions are. The survey underlines how digital payments are becoming more and more common and how hotels must make investments in safe and easy payment methods. Enhancing visitor satisfaction can be achieved by promoting cashless transactions with incentives like loyalty awards and discounts. The entire visitor experience can also be enhanced by providing workers with training on digital payment help and guaranteeing system dependability. According to the survey, retaining customer trust and competitive advantage would require incorporating sophisticated and user-friendly payment systems as the hotel sector continues to embrace digitalization. Ultimately, digital payments are not just a convenience but a key factor in shaping the future of guest satisfaction in the hotel industry.
